Klunen is a skating game played entirely on your device. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.
Klunen stores all of your progress locally on your device, using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage:
None of this information is ever sent off your device. There are no servers behind Klunen and no account to create.
If you choose to add a portrait to your stempelkaart, Klunen asks for permission to use the camera or your photo library only at that moment. The resulting photo is stored locally on your device as part of your card and is never uploaded anywhere. You can decline this permission and still play the full game using the default card.
If you turn on the daily ice report in Settings or during onboarding, Klunen asks the system for permission to schedule a local notification. This notification is generated and delivered entirely on your device — it is not a push notification from a server, and no data about you is sent anywhere to produce it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Klunen's Privacy Manifest declares its use of Apple's UserDefaults API under the standard reason code for storing app preferences and state on-device (CA92.1). This is normal app configuration storage and is not used for tracking.
Klunen contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no third-party tracking of any kind. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and nothing you do in Klunen is shared with anyone.
Klunen does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
